And we’re back. A week of no blogging. I had every intention of doing each morning before heading off to my conference / meeting thing, but ended up having a very busy Latitude week as well, so blogging fell by the wayside. And then, yesterday, so those of you who may have noticed, this here website was down all day. It was up again yesterday, but still not working for actual uploads. My web host sent out a message that they had a complete server meltdown, and it took them all day to get the site back online, but they didn’t lose any data, so other than y’all not being able to read my ramblings, no harm was done.
Other than a few straggling things, I think that I am all set to go to New England on Tuesday-night-into-Wednesday. Yesterday, Ben and I went to a cookie party (some friends have 3 ovens and it’s sort of like an interactive cookie swap where you bake the cookies there instead of bringing them already made). It was interesting enogh, but I’m not good with lots of people in small spaces, especially when I don’t know but three of them. Today, we’ve got tickets to see The Nutcracker ballet. While I am not usually a ballet fan, we thought a little bit of Christmas-y culture wouldn’t be too bad. |
