Glowfish… now there is something my cat would likely go gaga over. I am actually rather confused that people are upset about this though. I mean, you can kill and eat a cow and no one has an issue (well ok, not no one) and you can’t put a little gene is a fish to make it a little more colorful. It’s really just a little makeup. Well, ok, permanent, gene-altering makeup.
Somehow this line strikes my funny bone: “Federal agencies have decided they have no jurisdiction over a bio-engineered household pet that is not intended for consumption.”
And on the topic of makeup, I bought some yesterday. gasp, horror, shield your eyes! Yes, ladies and germs, I thought that I would try to put makeup on again for the first time in errr – forever. I looked like a clown. We’ll have to see if I do that again. I wanted to see if I could/should/would wear it to the company Christmas party and all tonight (at the Space Needle), but I think that I vetoed that idea on myself.
