So, as you all know, I am not a Bush-fan, and in fact, most of the time, I think him quite the boob. But, I have to give him credit for pulling off his Thanksgiving Day stunt by flying to Iraq under complete secrecy. In this day and age, with communication being the way it is, secrets at the national level are pretty hard to keep under wraps so I am actually somewhat impressed that he pulled this off. And you know, he actually looked a little humbled when he took the podium to give his speech. Of-course, then he opened his mouth and was an idiot again, but hey, it wasn’t all bad.
We cooked a turkey (shown here, of-course), and ate maybe 1/5 of it. The pie turned out really yummy. Something to add to the repertoire.
