For the next few days, the Cascades are going to get another nice dumping of snow. Ski season is definitely starting early ‘round these parts this year.
The fire (potential arson) at an international dorm at a university in Moscow isn’t making all that much news. This is because there were no Americans injured, “only” Asians and Africans. If Americans had been among the victims, we would have been calling it an Al Queda plot for sure. It’s so depressing that the media is so single minded (well, besides the whole Michael Jackson shit, when they are just looking for another OJ car pursuit).
