Every week on the CNN website, they have this Quick Poll question (the whole quick poll thing irritates me anyway, but more on that some other time) about what was the greatest news story of the week. This week’s options were Bush’s visit to Great Britain, the Michael Jackson silliness, the conviction of John Allen Muhammed in the sniper trial or the decision of the Massachusetts Supreme Court on gay marriage. I was appalled to see that the Michael Jackson silliness was by far the one that people picked. Are they high or something? In the larger scheme of the world, who the hell cares about that freak anyway? Even his music sucks.
