I don’t know what is scarier: the fact the Michael Jackson is an alleged child molester or those very disturbing photographs that are accompanying every single article. That man(?) is a freak.
As predicted, it snowed here today. Driving to work, there was actually about 5 inches of snow on the top of Finn Hill (the area of Kirkland that we used to live) and where there wasn’t snow, there was standing water. This morning was not a fun commute (40 minutes) although some people I heard had 2 hour commutes. I would have given up. It was blustering and as Ben put it “we had weather” and opposed to this non-committal shit we normally get.
And, evidently, that means that the ski areas (Crystal and Baker) are opening tomorrow. I put down on my extended New Year’s Resolution list that I wanted to try to take up skiing again and if we get enough snow this winter, I should really try that. Again, it isn’t the skiing that scares me, it is the whole chair-lift fiasco and my bloody fear of heights.
