After pretty much having spent the week on the couch, I felt motivated enough to get out of the apartment and go for a long walk yesterday. I also felt like making bread (I realize, an incredibly random thing), so I made a Hefezopf (roughly translated, yeast braid). It’s sort of like a challah bread. The braid, however, was too long for the baking sheet, so I made a swirl out of it, which sort of baked together as one big loaf.
Oh well. Not the prettiest thing, but it tastes good.
