On the Water
Another weekend in Maine, this time involving schooner sailing off the mid-coast area. IT was a glorious day (hot inland, but great on the water). We had a grand time and no one, not even little Elsa, got seasick. Quite brilliant, actually.

And speaking of brilliant, Note to self: remember to take the shutter speed of 1600 when shooting in broad daylight / extreme sun. The is, literally, the only picture that is worth anything out of the 40 or so that I took. Nearly 30 of them are pure white because I messed up the camera settings. Dumb me.

In other news, I also got stopped by the police on Saturday evening. I virtually never get stopped (this is the first time since my early 20s). I was just pulling away from a light, so I know that I wasn’t speeding, and after the state trooper took my license and registration (and asked a few questions about the WA State plates), reminded me that one of my front headlights was out. I suppose that I should fix that, eh?
