Didn't get around to updating this again while I was traveling (bad me), but to update everyone, on July 7 my lovely sister gave birth (waaaaaay late) to a baby girl that they named Theresa Katja Eberl. It's a bit of a overwhelming thing to have someone named after you (ok, second name, but still). Apparently had it been a boy, they were going to use Michi's brother as second namesake (Andreas).
So, tears of joy last Sunday (It was Monday in Germany when she was born, but like at 2 AM so when I got the call, it was still Sunday for me). I seriously started bawling when Michi called.
Family is at home, doing fine. Now the real fun begins. |
