glass through iron
I got back last night from a lovely little weekend in Maine. My mom is in Germany, running after Simon, but I hung out with my dad, helping him set up some new computer hardware, talking a lot and doing the usual stuff. Maine is seriously still in the deep-freeze with mounds upon mounds of snow and I don't think that the air temperature cracked the freezing mark the whole time I was up here.

On Saturday evening, we went over to Ingrid and Rick's for a little dinner party. I was the youngest by two or three decades, I think, but that was ok too. It was fun and I helped Ingrid cook dinner.

In case this photograph is a little disorienting, it is a picture of a very small stained-glass window, taken through a wrought iron fence. It is Easter appropriate, so even though it is Easter Monday (celebrated in Germany), I thought I would post it.
